Freehand - His Last Voyage. What an epic, I move through so many incredible vistas when I listen to this.

Three Friends - Schooldays
best song they ever did. It had it all... especially what GG completely forgot soon after... beauty, emotion and atmosphere |
Agreed. More or less. Prologue+Schooldays... You simply don't find music sounding like that anywhere else (closest I can think of are some of Grachan Moncur III's early to mid-60's avantgarde-jazz compositions) and in many ways why I still listen to prog.

I'm sorry I didn't include Civilian YESISIS. I don't hear people on ProgArchives talking about that album, so I didn't include it. Now I see I should've have included all the Gentle Giant studio albums. I'm sorry, but thanks for commenting still!

My favourite GG track is on The Missing Piece ...which is not on the list....the track is "For Nobody"
It's been my favourite for quite a while.

Now I see I should've have included all the Gentle Giant studio albums. I can't add new entries to the poll question, but thanks for commenting still!

My second favorite is "Inside Out" from Civilian. An album which surprisingly did not make the list. | Sorry about that. That album not being on Spotify or iTunes is part of the reason why it was not included. Another part of it is the fact that that album has been criticized for not being prog enough here on PA, and GG is said to have gone down a lot in quality after Interview. That's why the last album chronologically in this poll is Interview.

It's completely understandable. You made the choice you felt was right, and no doubt many on here agree with you. Good poll really. A big part of the problem with me is that I usually listen to this band when I'm meditating(aside from Civilian while exercising lol), and so my eyes are closed and I honestly don't know what most of the songs are called. Like when there are threads asking what's your favorite song on a certain album.. I have to go back and listen to a little of each song to see what titles go with what songs.
