having listened to a couple of songs on their bandcamp, they're crossover rather than neo. Sounded pretty good :)

Band that seem to be flying well below the radar, but certainly sound to me as though they belong here.
Not much info on line at all from a quick glance, but there is a contact email from where we can obtain this (if approved) on their very simple website: http://oglin.org/. Two demos (2013 and 2014) on bandcamp: https://oglin.bandcamp.com/. Their full debut album "Leeches and Lowly Worms" was released (digitally only) on December 8th, 2017 (but thus far hasn't made it onto bandcamp). This is a concept album which tells the story of Charlotte, a fragile soul lost in the world. Through eleven songs we follow Charlotte as she works in an office, is hospitalized, escapes, is lost again and finally comes home. Tracklist: 1. Leeches And Lowly Worms (5:32) 2. The Office Cockerel (5:11) 3. Sabbatical (4:26) 4. Escape (5:48) 5. Customer Of Culture (4:10) 6. Mother (3:29) 7. Bridge (1:36) 8. Back To The Hearth (3:46) 9. Dream (5:14) 10. The Pill (2:23) 11. Charlotte (9:58) Total Time 51:33 Line-up: - Ogge Sjölin / bass, vocal - Seth Kapadia / guitars - David Thurfjell / keyboards - Johan Thurfjell / drums Listen to the whole album at: https://open.spotify.com/album/0jdcxEJoRjswp9tvWmDE69. For me it's closest to Neo Prog, but I've included Crossover in the topic title as an alternative. Edited by yam yam - February 16 2018 at 19:26 |
