Permanent Waves for sure. Not a big fan or Duke or Drama. I don't dislike them either, but they're not on my top list.

Absolutely Permanent waves! Although both Drama and Duke are good albums, Genesis and Yes best days were over when Rush were still rolling!

Permanent Waves by a long shot.
It's absolutely my favorite Rush album.

Drama - fantastic Machine Messiah song (harder and somewhat mean guitar is rather different from Yes usual sound) and Tempus Fugit with great Chris's bass are enough to help to win this poll. The rest of the record is quite good too (Into The Lens, which is Yes cover of Buggles hit I am the Camera, makes me smile always I hear it).

Permanent Waves is very good record (especially for Jacob's Ladder) too. I like it but Drama has a special spot in my heart anyway.

To be honest, Genesis Duke is the first record where they audibly start to flirt with pop sound and songs (well, in lesser extent it was on ATTWT too) and IMO it's not par with two records above. Not bad but...

So it's like this:
DRAMA > PERMANENT WAVES >>>> DUKE

1. Drama: special throughout with Downes and Horn aptly shedding their Buggles' skin in search of a higher
    calling.

2. Duke: great percussion amidst all else but a little hard on the palette.

3. Permanent Waves: an unfortunate follow-up to the two colossal albums that preceded it.

Permanent Waves is one of the albums that got me into prog, so it's getting my vote. I think Rush did a lot better transitioning into the 80s than Genesis or Yes.

Didn't expect that PA subscribers favor Yes (and Genesis) above Rush that much. Yes winning despite Permanent Waves is one of the greatest albums of Rush, in their full creativity, with key prog hits and epics whereas Drama (although good) is rather average in Yes standards.

Both Drama and Permanent Waves are my favourite albums by the respective bands, so it would be a tie but I think I have to go with Permanent Waves for this one. Duke is an album I don't find very appealing..

1. Drama
2. Permanent Waves
3. Duke

I quite like all three albums.

Drama. Does it really happen never gets mentioned and is my favorite on the album.
Squire is an animal on this one, trying single-handedly to make the whole thing work. And it does.
