This should be a good one cuz there are SO MANY GREAT GREAT songs on this album!

Why this band isn't spoken of in the same breath as Mahvishnu or RTF I'll never know. Songs like "Nervi scoperti," "Implosion," and "Megalopoli" are as good as if not better than anything the aforementioned bands ever did! And we should all be singing the praises of drummer Giulio Capiozzo--he's as good as Williams, Cobham, White, and Walden!

First song for me, but as you say, there really isn't a wrong choice here.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Yes, many great songs on this album. I guess I'll vote for Megalopoli, but the whole album is quite an enjoyable experience.

What he said...
He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. Living frugally, saving his money, he died early, surrounded by greedy relatives. It was a great lesson to me -- John Barrymore

f**king Captcha... got me...

anyhow... all you have to do is ask the Mick

Two words Drew..

Demetrio Stratos

Two words why Area ran circles around bands like those.. Area had the same talent level.. with FAR more diversity in its sound and folk elements.

However two words also why Area are not as popular as bands like those. Stratos is an acquired taste. Easy listening it is often not.

Man, it’s been years since I’ve spun an Area LP. I must listen before voting.

Stone-cold masterpiece. If Area had been from an English-speaking country, they would be mentioned in the same breath as RTF or Mahavishnu. I also went for "La mela di Odessa", though I could have easily voted for any one of the other tracks.

This is my least favorite album from Area. I go with Odessa too.

Hear hear!

Can't pick a favorite though. Whenever I love all options in a poll I tend to come back and vote for one of the tracks, bands or albums that's a little behind.

Gioia E Rivoluzione. A very pleasant song despite being stripped-down of most of Area's characteristic qualities.
"Larks' tongues. Wrens' livers. Chaffinch brains. Jaguars' earlobes. Wolf nipple chips. Get 'em while they're hot. They're lovely. Dromedary pretzels, only half a denar."
