It was in 60ties, but really love Hazlewood & Sinatra duet in "Some Velvet Morning". Rowland S. Howard and Lydia Lunch have also made really great version of that song too.

Pretty good cover band (Keep Me Hanging On).... My favorite would easily be Three Dog Night, who I've grown to like very much over the last couple years.

look into the acid-psych-prog folk rock groups like Fairport C, Pentangle, Spirogyra, The Trees, Comus, Steeleye Span etc...
