Haha I thought of that too but as its surrounding songs are kind of crappy as well I haven't really managad to buidld up a genuine dislaike for it (as I surely would have if it was on an otherwise great album).

I don't generally remember the toons I don't like, I don't store them in mind, and I skip them on the album they are on, but a few are so irritaitng that they ruin the feel of the whole album. So the ones that really get on my tits are the two that ruin Meddle, namely San Tropez and Seamus.

Wreck is brilliant: a shanty with medieval textures and a vocal melody (the verse "How strange when you think tht the sea was their way …") that demands an advanced level of class and quality to keep tune. One of my top 10 GG songs.

I don't like the rock part, especially the chorus repeated in compulsive way (heyeheh Hold on). It seems to me a song caged in a structure that obliges it to repetitiveness. I really like the brief instrumental passage that connects the Renaissance with the rock part. I like very much "Why Not?", that I consider the Wreck model: hard-rock part that ends with a very rhythmic phrase, interspersed with a medieval part. That song seems to me much more successful and smooth in its steps than Wreck.
In any case, they are personal tastes.
