I like Don't Kill The Whale and Follow You Follow Me a lot. I saw those mentioned as disliked tracks.
Follow You Follow Me reflects well how I felt when I first fell in love with my fiance. I liked it even before then though. Don't Kill the Whale rocks. Dig it dig it! |

I hated "Whale" until I heard a live version, now it is one of my favorites from that era. Dig it! Edited by cstack3 - March 24 2018 at 10:56 |

At the moment, my favorite band is either Deep Purple or Rush, so Mary Long for Deep Purple and Dog Years for Rush. Both of them have pretty shoddy lyrics and generic instrumentation. Mary Long is far more unforgivable out of the two considering it came out of DP's golden age while Dog Years was on Test For Echo, which is not all that great in the first place.

Good point, if I had to choose between them I'd rather hear Sleepless on an endless loop 24/7. Beat is the only studio Crimson album I don't own

Yes - Lightning Strikes
I loved the opening track of The Ladder, I thought it was one of their best songs since the 70s. Second track was meh. Then "Lightning Strikes"...probably one of the stupidest f***ing songs ever recorded. Just idiotic. Worst thing Yes has ever done, no question.

In Dzyan's guitarist/saz/sitar player Eddy Marron's recordings from the 1970s, I am thrilled to no end by most of them, except I have come to strongly dislike Vita Nova, and Dzyan -Mandala.
But his other work in Dzyan, Hans Koller's Free Sound, Missus Beastly, Giger Lenz Marron, and his solo album, work wonders for me, and always will.

Ahhh... the oft' maligned Roll the Bones.
Great song! Lots of insightful one liners from Neil in that one.

"London Kid" on a couple Jean-Michel Jarre's live albums, featuring Hank "Not-so-Marvelous" Marvin on guitar.
