Topic: Lily & Maria for progressive folk Posted: March 24 2018 at 11:32
I suggest Lily & Maria for progressive folk. they made only one highly obscure self-titled album in 1968, which was re-released in 2003 and 2008 (in 2008 with two bonus tracks from a promo-single).
here the line-up:
Lily Fiszman - vocals and guitar Maria Neumann - vocals and guitar Lou Marro - bass Gary Chester - drums Bernie Berger - flute Hank Freeman - flute, clarinet Charlie Brown - guitar Lou Hemsey - guitar Steve Krider - guitar Willard Snyker - guitar Paul Griffin - organ, piano Garry Sherman - vibraphone, organ
the track list is:
1. Subway Thoughts 1:39 2. Everybody knows 4:35 3. I was 4:01 4. Ismene-Jasmine 1:46 5. There’ll Be No Clowns Tonight 6:43 6. Aftermath 3.21 7. Morning Glory Morning 3:15 8. Melt Me 5:27 9. Fourteen After One 3:22
bonus tracks on the 2008 re-release, the promo single
