Each of Rush's final four albums had similar opening tracks, all of them being heavy rockin' tunes. So, which one deserves to stand on top? My vote goes to Caravan for the awesome lyrics and cool instrumental section, but let me know what you think!

One Little Victory for the fire-breathing dragon.  I remember that I had a friend tell me that they had heard the new Rush song on the radio prior to the album being released, so I listened to that radio station hoping to hear the song.  The first time I heard it my thought was "holy sh*t what have they done.  This is way to heavy".  But by the time that I saw them on tour I loved the song.

I like Caravan and it is a more complex song - but Far Cry is a more rounded and coherent track and flows better for me.

Far Cry gets the vote.
Although OLV has that awesome opening drum solo.

Perhaps. but I'll take Rock Rush over Prog Rush any day. After 2112, they may have fallen over a chasm for all  I cared.
