Apologies but not sure about sub-genre.

It was in 2012 in Yerres in Essonne that started the adventure of the group Moonshine Blast. Led by Nicolas Duke on vocals and drums, the band also includes Kévin Leclerc and Killian Melle on electric guitars and Nikita Osadchiy on bass. These four high school friends will quickly come on stage to offer their rock music with pop accents.
During the year 2013, Kevin is forced to leave the group. This is another guitarist from the same high school that the group decided to integrate in the person of Gabin Rock.
Determined to bring the group's music to the greatest possible world, Moonshine Blast decided to participate in the 2013-2014 edition of the international Emergenza springboard. The public is not mistaken. After two beautiful scenes at the Gibus (Paris) and a semifinal at New Morning (Paris), the group sees arriving in the finals of the springboard and climbs on the stage of Bataclan (Paris). Despite a performance that was noticed and welcomed by the public and the members of the final jury, the group did not win the final of the springboard. For personal reasons, Killian puts an end to his adventure in the group after the final of the springboard.
After the summer of 2014, Moonshine Blast thinks of reshaping his training. Following the departure of Killian, Gabin finds himself only guitarist of the group and Nicolas wants to take more the place of singer who forces him to give up the drums. At the end of November 2014, the three remaining members of Moonshine Blast decide to entrust the drummer position to Thomas Zecchinon met during the Emergenza springboard.
Shortly after, the group sees leave one of its last founding members, Nikita. He is a long-time friend of Thomas, Jalil Saugrin, who will lend a hand as a bassist until September 2015 before the arrival of Renaud Lyabastre, who will succeed him.
With this formation, the band appeared on stage sometimes at the end of 2015 but decided to go back to the studio at the beginning of 2016 to record their first album and it took almost two years for the four members of Moonshine Blast to be proud to present you today this first opus.
