Actually, according to wikipedia it was released in November of 1974. But yeah please list all those examples of disco before this. Maybe some Barry White but otherwise really not much pure disco imo. And no "love train" is NOT disco.

wouldn't beegees "Jive Talkin' be disco?  Definitely Barry White and Love Unlimited Orchestra.  George McRae's "Rock your baby" was the #1 song of 1974.

few great songs not yet mentioned:
Lucifer's Friend - High Flying Lady-Goodbye (fantastic song sung by Uriah Heep's John Lawton)
Gryphon - Falero Lady
Diabolus - Lady of the Moon (great 70s energetic prog-folk)
Atmosphera - Lady of Shalott

For the third time I'd rather keep going poppy with music about ladies.....

Lionel Richie - Three Times a Lady
Elton John - Lady Samantha

Have yet to see that mentioned. LRB have a great discography in my opinion. Solid tunes.

One of my favourite songs is Green-Eyed Lady by Sugarloaf. The bass, vocals/lyrics are outstanding.
"The wind is slowly tearing her apart"

"Sad Rain" ANEKDOTEN

Outstanding suggestion!  The Hammond B-3 work is also excellent....even the lead guitar parts are superb!
