Hey all,

Day two of quitting smoking and all I can tolerate at this point pretty much is Slayer. Do you all have any calming, placid music you can suggest that will stop me from throwing my boss out the window? (that was a joke. Don't call the fuzz one me.)

Thanks.

Why not just punch walls? Go to someone else's house LOL

BTW, good luck. I've never been a smoker but understand how difficult that is.
Cograts on the decision to do so! Clap

try and give a listen to the new Andrew WK album a listen, You Are Not Alone, it's not placid but it's inspirational and generally feel good. Music is worth living for!

Anthony Phillips 1984 (1984) is the most relaxing album ever. Just nice early 80s drum machine loops and soothing synths, with a little bit of a dark undertone.

This is incredibly relaxing I find:

Soldato of the Pan Head Mafia. We'll make you an offer you can't listen to.

In the immortal words of John Wayne, "Anyone can quit smoking. It takes a real man to face lung cancer."

to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

Take up heroin, then listen to Brian Eno's music for Airports on repeat in a dark room for three days.

Failing that, just go ahead throw your boss out of the window.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

When I was 19, I drank alcohol and would then smoke cigarettes and in a year, it was a habit...

I had to smoke pot to get rid of the alcohol and cigarettes.. I'm almost 36, and very glad I made that decision.
