I wish there had been some sort of fusion of both bands. It would have been great some Line-up like: Fripp, Hamill, Jackson, Bruford, Wetton. And then add a keyboard player... perhaps Keith Emmerson, or Keith Tippet, or Generator's own Hugh Banton. And David Jackson.
