Tangerine Dream is great but I can only think of two or three bands that I would choose over Can.

lederhosen are only worn in rural areas of Bavaria; they are by no means a typical German garb. Tangerine Dream are from Berlin and Can from Cologne, which are both not in Bavaria. that being said my vote goes to Can

TD have a handful of truly brilliant groundbreaking albums so it's hard to vote against them but I'd vote against anyone for Can.
