Was just thinking this morning how important Valentyne Suite was for progressive rock. It was right up there with the much more Lauded In The Court Of The Crimson King as far as ground breaking music is concerned. Before Carl Palmer, Bill Bruford et al got going it was Jon blazing a trail for drummers who wanted to do a little more than just play straight forward rock/pop music.
