Sigur Rós formed merely three years after Talk Talk's second masterpiece Laughing Stock, a clear influence on the Icelanders' music along with Spirit of Eden. Who do you prefer? Who do you listen to more? Which albums get you more relaxed? DISCUSS!

Ahhhhhhh, new interesting polls popping up are like a breath of fresh air.
Took me a while to get over Sigur Ros' vocals but they got fairly endearing once I did. Agaetis Byrjun and the Paranthesis album are extraordinary records.
That being said, I spun Talk Talk's Laughing Stock about once a week for the past year or so... Spirit of Eden is equally amazing. The post-Talk Talk albums by former members are also worth mentioning, both Mark Hollis' self-titled and Harris' and Webb's .O.Rang - Herd of Instinct which has been warmly recommended to me on this forum and might be my favorite of all Talk Talk albums. |

SR have more albums that I really like, but Laughing Stock might be my favorite album period and Spirit of Eden is up there somewhere. I'll go with Talk Talk.

I have to admit, I really thought Sigur Rós would get more votes. As of right now, they have 4.
