Watcher of the Skies - Genesis. That opening chord still makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck after all these years! 😍

I cannot choose between these great songs, since I love them all. It depends on the mood I'm in.

Even though I created this poll, I gotta say that among "The Big Six" songs that I chose here, it's five stone cold classics and "The Barbarian." I'm not really an ELP guy, but still. I could have gone with "Tarkus" or "Jerusalem," but I don't think either are major standouts.

I might get a lot of flak for that "Tarkus" jibe, but whatever man. It'll make an appearance on Vol. 2 or 3 of Side 1 Track 1 Shootout!

6 great tracks and yet a no-brainer: Watcher of the Skies is a majestic opener.

In due order: Genesis > PF > KC >= Yes > JT > ELP

I am also SHOCKED that as of right now, "Roundabout" only has a single vote. I know everyone prefers Close To The Edge and people seem to think that Fragile is less interesting because it was a huge hit. Fragile might be Yes-101 but what the hell, gang. "Roundabout" is awesome.

tbf, Roundabout would have been my third choice, and not that far behind 21st Century, but far above the other three

Nobody's ever said Roundabout is not awesome, but it's got some serious competition here :)

Side 1 Track 1 is often the best, I love starters.
It's between Aqualung and Watcher and I choose the latter today.
