Hammill, but the entire list comprises of fantastic singers. Hats off to Mikael Åkerfeldt, his contrast of brutal growls and clean vocals are unmatched.

interestingly Inga and Dagmar were in the same band at the same time, "The City Preachers". Inga then first fronted Frumpy and later Atlantis, Dagmar went off to sing for Slapp Happy, Henry Cow and the Art Bears and later the Feminist Improvising Group, an all female band consisting of 5-8 members, among them Lindsay Cooper, Georgie Born and Maggie Nicols.

the FIG also openly advocated lesbianism, by the way. one of their numbers was called "Dip Me in Chocolate and Throw Me to the Lesbians"
