Greetings,

I'm Yves. Originally from Quebec, Canada, I now live in Holland with my husband who is dutch. I'm 50 (well, close enough, as my birthday is in less than 2 weeks! ) I've seen quite a few concerts in my time. The first one being ELP at the Quebec Coliseum in 197something (!) and the latest, Yes at the Ahoy in Rotterdam, Holland. A non-exhaustive list include : Gong (2 times), Yes (6), Genesis (5), King Crimson, VdGG, Shakti, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Gentle Giant (3), etc...

My favourite music? It varies quite a bit. These days it's mainly : Magma, Ozric Tentacles, Gong, Grateful Dead...

Music I do not enjoy? Mostly : disco, rap, Celine Dion, opera, metal-anything, country & western...

Hi mates!

I'm from Québec too and I still live in Québec.

It's appear that you are more lucky than me, you have live your youth in the golden years of prog!! Lucky man!

Me, I'm 28 and 70's prog is my fave music so, I had not many oppurtunities to see a concert from these groups except the followings:

Yes (1997&2004), Rush (2002&2004), ELP (1998), Pink Floyd (1994), Roger Waters (1999), King Crimson (2003), Musical Box (Tribute to Genesis, over 10 times), Jethro Tull (1997) and maybe few ones that i can't remeber now.

So, Welcome to the wonderfull world of ProgArchives!
