Wikipedia

Stonefield are an Australian rock band comprising the four Findlay sisters: Amy on drums and lead vocals, Hannah on lead guitar, Sarah on keyboards, and Holly on bass guitar. They were formed in 2006 as Iotah in Darraweit Guim, a small town in rural Victoria. They changed their name in 2010 and have released three studio albums, Stonefield (October 2013), As Above, So Below (July 2016) – which peaked at No. 19 on the ARIA Albums Chart – and Far from Earth (April 2018).

And don't forget bandcamp for the latest album: https://stonefield.bandcamp.com/album/far-from-earth. I love these girls' music to bits, but I'd never really thought of them as being a candidate for PA. Be great if they did make it here, but I fear they will most likely end up as a 'close but not close enough' case, just like their label-mates King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard did earlier this year.

Edit: I tried to complete the discography for listening purposes here, and the debut self-titled album from 2013 is filed on spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/06AsvcR8B7VTnKn3opsCAU. It's not shown with the rest of their discography in the band's 'overview' section though, even though clicking on the artist's name under this album does take you there, and unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any audio associated with any of the tracks here in the UK. What a shame! Will probably work OK 'down under' though!

Edit#2 It doesn't work on deezer either in the UK: https://www.deezer.com/en/album/6969106. Here are a couple of videos from it though: https://vimeo.com/145227474 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWZ_LpM4yUE.

Hey that’s ok. Thanks for reply anyway. They’re an awesome group. Reminded me of Hawkwind meets Santana.

Could be a Crossover band. I’ll leave it at that. Cheers, ACR

Awesome band indeed, and deserve to be far more widely known and appreciated than they currently are. All three albums are really excellent. Don't really feel that Crossover would be quite the right place for them - it's Psych or bust for me personally. Either Uwe or Keishiro will be dropping by shortly to give us a definitive verdict on these girls I would imagine, so as you say - we just hang loose for now.
