Another stunning selection. Personal favorites here: Alusa Fallax, Holderlin and Et Cetera.

Tough call between The Muffins and Quiet Sun for me.

I'll go the latter this time...
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

I'm going nationalist once again. I'm casting my vote to 2 time Oscar Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain & Babel) and his band, Arco Iris

So much great stuff. I guess I'll go Maneige over Jade Warrier.

Quiet Sun ahead of Maniege, Cos and Pekka Pohjola.
"Larks' tongues. Wrens' livers. Chaffinch brains. Jaguars' earlobes. Wolf nipple chips. Get 'em while they're hot. They're lovely. Dromedary pretzels, only half a denar."

Quiet Sun !!!
Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

These are quite excellent albums, all of them. Jade Warrior and Groschnitt are a tie for me, though any of them would be a winner.

I have heard very little of this selection. Nevertheless I vote with a certain degree of impertinence: The Book of Invasions is one of the best in this set of three polls.

This time around I could quite easily pick one over the others:
Viva Bomba! - by quite a distance

I voted for Sebastian Hardie: "Four Moments" because I love that album from one of the few prog rock groups from my country.

As for Tasavallan Presidentti and Pekka Pohjola, I'm not familiar with those particular albums, but may have to reassess my choice if different albums were listed.

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

Gotta give my vote to Lucifers Friend. They're not the proggiest group on the list, but I find them fascinating.

But like other lists, I'm not familiar with everything, so I've got some musical exploring to do. Its gonna be fun. Thanks for the threads!
