Couldnīt find a poll about them So I made one. I m pretty sure the mistake lies with me this time. Cant imagine no poll about the volta albums. But anyways why not again.

Love the first four havent heard the other ones.

1. Amputechture
2. Frances The Mute
3. De - Loused In The Comatorium
4. Bedlam

But I love them all bedlam is just a little annoying after a while if it hadnīt such a strange sound it could be higher. De Loused Isnīt pretentious enough. Frances is a little inconsistent and has a sound thats so unproggy except for song length and some technical (not complex) passages. Is it just me or is frances not complex at all (It says a lot that its still that high on the list) (might change my mind on that one) and amputechture is really complex and progressive but it just doesnt rock as much (except viscera eyes).

So actually forget the numbers Iīll go with 5 stars for each...

Had to go with "De-Loused...", one of my favorite albums of the last 20 years.

De-loused will always be their best work, followed closely by FTM.

The first two albums are amazing. After that...not so much. Decent but lacking something.

Amputechture!! Followed by De-loused and further by the overrated Frances and the underrated later albums.

I love Bedlam but haven't delved into the rest of their catalogue as yet.
