Now THIS is an awesome and unexpected pairing! No contest cuz I love them both--both groundbreakers extraordinaire!

I would chew my leg off to avoid hearing Magma and their lyrics in a ridiculous language again. The band has the same effect on me as Vogon poetry.

I do like Sigur Ros.

Glad you liked the pairing. I feel the same way about both bands, but I went with Sigur Ros, which I believe will be the least voted.

Love 'em both. I'd be happy to support the underdog here but I think that currently Sigur Ros cannot quite compete with Magma's catalogue as a whole - this may look different 20 years down the line.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I totally agree with you.

Well, Magma. I respect Sigur Rós until Takk and I still believe Ágætis byrjun is a hell of a record, but they did get repetitive and too whiny.

Whereas Magma is just friggin' dope, at least when the mood hits me. Oh well, Sigur also demands a very special mood to get into.
