As well as the previously mentioned Court of the Crimson King, Children of men also featured this scene (sorry, no audio)

Trevor Rabin has scored quite a few movie soundtracks. Tangerine Dream did the soundtrack for “Near Dark”

Actually recently in the film, Mandy (2018), starring Nicholas Cage, has the song Starless by King Crimson in the beginning of the film. But don't worry this is not your average sh*tty Nicholas Cage film, this film is actually great!

Apparently Lady Gaga is seen wearing a Yes tee shirt in A Star Is Born if that counts.

Documentary about the Voyager program called "The Farthest - Voyager in Space" used Brain Damage and US and Them. Not a huge Floyd fan, but the tracks were well used.

Are we just naming songs or whole soundtracks?
MacGruber had emerson lake powell's  touch and go i believe. Maybe was the score, but think it was T&G.

About a hundred of Tangerine Dream's albums...
If you think, like I do, that Vangelis is prog, there's another 30 albums, more or less.

Curiosity killed a cat, Schroedinger only half.

Hi,

Christopher Franke, did the soundtrack for BABYLON 5, and while his music was not very well used in most episodes, there are some nice bits here and there.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

I saw that movie several years ago but somehow I didn't pick up on(or notice)the flying pig. Not sure how I missed it. I do remember "court" being played in the middle though.

I'll also mention Floyd's "interstellar overdrive" in the Dr. Strange movie from a few years ago.

Not a film but the FX TV series Trust (starring Hilary Sw**k, Donald Sutherland, Brendan Fraser .. now that's a movie cast!) features a truck load of prog and seventies rock music. Very enjoyable stuff.
