On Chart.
At a first listen they sound very '80s. There's influence of the Hair Metal of that age. Sometimes reminding of GTR.

Translated: I don't like them much but they are a fit for neo-prog.

Have to say that 'Calendar' is one of favourite albums in 2018 so far. The overall template may be described as the cross-over style. Musical references? I wanna name such renowned artists as Styx, Karnataka, LZ, PF, Supertramp, Saga, Great White, Gotthard etc.. Definitely recommended!

You mean there's neo prog that doesn't have elements of 80's metal? :P

Interesting queztion. The first time I've listened to Dream Theater I said "it's like a metal version of Marillion". But I don't think that all the neo-prog has a so strong connection to the 80s metal apart of coming more or less from the same age.

Only heard one track and the term cross-over fits them better than neo-prog, in my view. More melodic rock/AOR than prog, in fact, which is why I can see the 80s hair rock reference from some. A pleasant enough listen, though - but little in common with the likes of IQ, early Marillion, Pendragon, Twelfth Night etc. Closest to Jadis perhaps, but I'd have to hear more (which I'll endeavour to do - given how much I'm enjoying their fellow countrymen, Mystery, at present)
