It's Friday night! Man I like all of these albums a lot. I guess Weidorje and Guapo standout but I'd be happy picking any of these. Happy weekend every one!

Hmmmmm...these are all on the infrequently listened list. Probably my 3rd least favorite Magma album. I guess it would be Weidorje.

Actually not familiar with Vak...or don't remember them.

Guapo's is a masterpiece. Weidorje's and Magma are great. Zao's is pretty good. I could live without the others if honest.

Guapo's epic monster-masterpiece over my favorite Zao-album. Weidorje is nice as well but I never actually listen to it. VAK sounds almost like a (brilliant) tribute band so lacking a little in the personality/originality-department. I guess Pseu didn't bring anything new to the table either - but quite enjoyable darkly-tinged fun. Sl*g Tanz is just one really expensive (great) song that would have made the short Felicite Thosz-album a semi-classic had it been included there instead.

John, just like you didn't choose Setna's best album, you're also not doing it for Vak. Wink

Five Suns was my first experience of 21st century avant-prog, and the start of a long road of discovery. I still think it's a masterpiece. I can't not vote for it.

The toughest one yet! Went with Sl*g Tanz over Osiris. (Not a fan of the Weirdorje album.)

I guess your talking about Vak's new one which I haven't heard. I have the other Setna but prefer this one. Wacko

No accounting for taste is there?

That Magma EP is great! The title track is so intense.
This is the first poll to surprise me with Guapo doing way better than I thought. Love it though it's one of my favourite albums period. Not sure why I put it in the same poll with Weidorje who I thought would win this. Those two are in my top ten Zeuhl albums for sure.

Always appreciate the thoughts. Pseu clicked with me even with those theatrical vocals although there's not a lot of them. Love their instrumental work mostly. I think I'm in the minority with my feeling for that one.

Vak's Budo is probably the top 2018 album, AFAIACHeart... Please indulge ASAP, it's a big hit with many PE-'ers.

It's got a Guerison and Scherzoo 03 resonance to my ears.

Of course, you're entitled to preferring Cycle 1, it was my choice on your poll.

Man I so agree with you, still wondering how I put those two albums against each other.
