Goodness Gracious! There are so many great albums here, but if I had to choose just one then it would be Cressida.

I think I voted ELP when this poll first came out as that album was such a world-wide sensation--even on sales charts--but there are many great debuts on this list. The GG debut is one that has grown and grown in my esteem over the past year, and A Present from Nancy and Egg and Cressida are also amazing. Don't know The Trip or Il Balletto's debuts. Lucifer's Friend, Elastic Rock, Air Condition, and Atomic Rooster are also impressive.

Gracious! I may need 'ELP with choosing three favourites, although I have an Affinity for Linda Hoyle, so I may have just done it.

I actually listen to Wishbone Ash's debut more than any other album from that 1970 list; followed by Gentle Giant, Focus and Black Sabbath.

Bump again!
Sabbath and Egg were easy choices. Third one could've been ELP or Tangerine Dream, but today I went with Gentle Giant.

@Cristi: I really feel for you here trying to teach people to read without much success, but you still keep on trying.
