W&W has been somewhat of a near miss for me. Going with Trespass.
I do like to go back over albums though so W&W is definitely due for a re-listen.

It's a hard choice, but I listen WaW more than Trespass.

Wind & Wuthering by quite some margin. I like Trespass but I listen much more to W&W, a truly great album.

Trespass is great but it's sounds really dated. W & W still sounds fresh to these ears.

Wind.......Trespass is nice but 11th Earl and One For the Vine are killer....not to mention Blood on the Rooftops.

I don't know how to go with this one. Tresspass is more consistently good, and I really like all of it's tracks. But Wind and Wuthering has higher high points...

W&W By a mile.
Trespass is a great debut(?), and of course the start of something incredible, but by the time of W&W they were at the top of their game. It was their last true prog rock album, but I still love everything they did up to and including Duke. Beyond Duke, there was a spattering of good songs but it was mostly middle of the road pop mediocrity. |

I agree and I am in the same place really, honestly can't think of a poll which has been tougher for me to choose. Both albums contain a really unique atmosphere that you just don't hear in other Prog albums, so I enjoy frequently revisiting them. Going to go for Wind only because I grew up with Phil Collins music so I always favour his voice over Peter Gabrial. Both albums are exceptional though and unfairly overshadowed by their other classic albums.

I would agree that Trespass has no weak points, but W&W does have a few. It also has what I would count as 'filler' 'Wot Gorrila' But, line up Eleveth Earl of Mar, One for the Vine, Blood on the Rooftops and Unquiet Slumbers/In that Quiet earth and you have some of their finest music IMO. |

So, I guess I'm going with W&W too, mostly because of One for the Vine, Unquiet Slumbers for the Sleepers on that Quiet Earth, and Afterglow... as well as I actually prefer Collins singing over Gabriel's. |

My favourite on Wund und Withering ]sic] is "Blood on the Rooftops". It's about even for me when choosing between the albums.
