This is hard to choose. I'll have to think very hard before I can vote.

Like both very much, but choosing Larks' Tongues in Aspic was an easy choice for me.

Love both, but Lark's Tongues is the winner for me

Easy. Lark's Tongues. Lark's displays a richness of expression that its robust lineup promises. Red is too stripped down, too minimal for me. A really wonderful track on Red, though, is Providence.

I guess Red. I wanted to vote for Larks Tongues, but in the end as a whole album I think Red holds up better. Now, if I would consider some of the live versions of the songs instead of the studio ones, perhaps Larks would end up taking it.

I agree with HackettFan, LTIA promises so much with its lineup and mostly delivers. I wish they played in a quintet for an album or two more. So I pick Lark's Tongues in Aspic.

I choose timeless beauty and emo-prog so Red for me. Doesn't mean Larks title track part 1 & 2 is any less catarthic, but there's also an element of which album came to me first and what it has meant over the years. Nostalgia and stuff.

Red, by a slim margin.

Both are classics.

I think it's jelly? But spices can be included.
Does anyone have a recipe, perhaps? Hard to get larks' tongues these times, though.

Both amazing albums but Red gets my vote. "Starless" is one of the best tracks in the whole of prog and One More Red Nightmare and Providence are superb as well.

Larks...
