I was wondering if anyone out there has heard, or possesses the album Mascaras Urbanas by Argentinian group, Rael. If so, what are your thoughts about it? I have heard it is very Genesis inspired, but not totally a clone of them. Does it, as I have also heard, continue where the Lamb left off? Do they sing in English or Spanish? Most importantly, is it any good? I have wondered about getting this album, but would like some considered feedback on it first, so I don't waste my money. Any comments would be appreciated.

Actually they sing in both languages!

I had the album some 10 years ago and got rid of it! Simply too derivative of Genesis and Marillion.

Actually if I remember well , they sounded more convincing when they sung in Spanish!

content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Read my review on Prog Archives and make your conclusion, I did the same as Sean Trane with my Rael CD!
