Mud Men, I guess, but the first half of Absolutely Curtains is amazing, up until the Native chanting, it kinda spoils the ethereal mood set up by the keyboards.

^ Just about the same with me, both for Mudmen and Absolutely Curtains. The other day that I was listening to this ones I thought that for the album they should have worked the songs so that "Obscured by Clouds", "When you're in" and "Absolutely Curtains" were actually one song.

Cool album. Definitely a better album than dark side which is just a bit over dramatic and commercial
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Free Four and Childhood's end are a tie for me, though I like the rest of the album as well.

Gotta go with the title track... they have a claim for the invention of post rock with this one.

Well said. One of those tracks that proves that Rick Wright's contributions to Pink Floyd's catalog can be quintessential

Just spinning my LP right now - it’s never been a favourite of mine, one of my least listened to Floyd. I’m digging it a lot, though.

I think I'm one of the few with a particular feeling for "Stay", but I love the whole album and also Burning Bridges  deserved a vote. Free Four is where Waters' pessimism started to emerge, also.
Curiosity killed a cat, Schroedinger only half.

Any folks notice Roger plays some neat bass on the album ? - there’s some great runs toward the end of Free Four. And I dig that count in - 1, 2, Free 4 !
