Yeah, I think it's just cause it sounds like Morse. I tried to find a meaning for it yesterday, and the best I could get was VOKUU.

Anybody: is the "morse code bassline" in Watchers actually morse code, or is it just referred to that because it sounds like morse?

Ah, I hear it now. I thought it was the keyboards that were doing it, but there's that little clicking in the background I hadn't paid attention to. |

I was just thinking about this. Maybe it should be his new band's name - The Morse Code. |

Are you sure it's at that point in the song? I checked out the rhythm using http://morsecode.scphillips.com/jtranslator.html, and that rhythm just doesn't seem to be there. |

My free prog group (Ordine Geometrico Demonstrata) used Morse for a
drum pattern in our title track (also the second song we recorded).

yeah In the commentary for MP's Drums of Thought DVD, he mentioned a special "hidden nugget" that could be found somewhere in the studio version of ITNOG. |

Yeah, what does the morse code in "Golf Girl" translate to? I can't even find anything that might be mistaken for morse code in that song. And what about "Watcher of the Skies?" What does that mean? Edited by Biggles |

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

Morse code is the intro to the stunning Barclay James Harvest's song Science Fiction: Nova Lepidoptera, from the 1978 album XII! The message is: U.F.O. |
