Two albums from 77 released just as punk was rearing it's ugly little head.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

I love Yes, but I have felt that GftO was not quite a 5 star album, where PF's Animals is without a doubt one of my favorites.

Going. While nowhere near their best, GFTO sounds positively inspired by comparison.

It's pretty close for me. Neither is my favorite by the band but I've always felt Animals was a bit over rated while GFTO seems a bit under rated. GFTO for me. That being said I do like both and "dogs" is one of my favorite PF tracks. I'm just not that big into "sheep" or "pigs(three different ones)."

I love both, but Animals. Though I might like Awaken best among the songs from both albums (it's very close between Dogs and Awaken, actually).

GFTO is a much better album. No contest.

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

Yes, awaken is outstanding but the rest of GFTO is downright atrocious (and not only IMHO)... Had there been a second Awaken, then this might start to be contest, but Animals by light years But yeah, Animals is angry, almost punk in its concept.... and next to Anderson's totally twee (and ridiculous) Wondrous Stories, it's not even in the same galaxy.
