again, both, it's the easy choice.
it would have been a tough choice had the albums been against each other. Big smile

The Yes Album is great but it's hard to beat "Red"

"Red" is one of the very best albums in the canon of King Crimson. The same can not be said for "The Yes Album" and the canon of Yes.

TYA easy
Red a bit hit and miss
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

The Yes Album by 1 star (which makes Red a little bit more starless ).

red
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

My favorites  King Crimson albums are :"In a Court of Crimson King", "Larks' Tongues in Aspic" and "Starless and Bible Black" ( three masterpieces) but...   I consider "The Yes Album" better !!!

Tough call. Easily my favorite Yes album against the final statement from my favorite incarnation of the Crimson King. Too close to call, weenied out and went with both..
He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. Living frugally, saving his money, he died early, surrounded by greedy relatives. It was a great lesson to me -- John Barrymore

Love both, but I votes Red. I'm more a King Crimson fan than a Yes fan. Both albums are excellent though.

Red easily. The only song I really like on The Yes album is Starship Trooper, and then I like it so much better live, that I could actually do without that album.

I'm more of a Yes fan than a KC fan, but Red still beats the excellent Yes Album.
