I have so many bands in my collection, the first track from Sezione Frenante  reminds me of another band .

Sezione Frenante - Nuove Dimensioni - 2019 from Italy

Symphonic/Italia

Very good album indeed. The first track (Kosmos) from this album reminds me of another band ?

Can anyone suggest some bands please!..  Cry

David Sylvian and PFM come to mind, but not really sure which song. I'll keep searching.

It's a bit Crimsonian in parts, names in mind Akt, Nurkostam, and obviously the keys are pure PFM

None of these bands spring to mind, as I have quite a lot!....  It's only the first track I'm interested in. Smile

Hi. I just had to register.
This first track reminds me very much of Camel's 'The Great March'
and the progression into Rhayader. Rhayader differs in chords but
the early Camel's basic mix of 4/4 and 6/8 is evident.

My two cents.Smile

Interesting song/band/album...

The very beginning I found it to be a mix of the end of Echoes from Pink Floyd -that would be a "Shepard tone" (I looked it up)- with the choruses at the beginning of Premiata's L'Isola di Niente.

The keyboards reminded me of Premiata's at times; and those circling synths at the end, of Marillion.
