I'm just wondering if anyone knows what has happened to prolific reviewer (he's still #1 here) and all-around nice-Canadian-guy John Davie aka MellotronStorm?
      I was driving by his hometown and wanted to contact him but noticed he hasn't visited PA since December of 2018. The guy used to do two reviews of weekly album purchases each and every weekend and then ¡poof! he's gone! (Hopefully, not like guitar god Colin Tench two years ago!)

I do hope he is just taking an unannounced break. John is a peach.

Hi Drew. He's around on Rate Your Music. I think he wanted to review some non-prog albums for a while. He's so far ahead of everyone else here with reviews i think he just wanted to try something new. I'm friends with him on RYM so if you want i can try to contact him. He has reviewed new albums very recently so i know he's still around. Or look for him yourself on RYM. Same name and everything. BTW, how are  you?

Doing well. New life centered around being an art gypsy and grandfather. Music is far in the background. Still, I check in, read your reviews (which seem continuous--I don't know how you do it!), see what's being released, what's being raved about, what topics are being discussed. But, not often. I lack any enthusiasm now that I've had to give up my radio show. Trying to get focused for another writing project.

Hey, did you ever finish your writing and music projects?

This looks somewhat familiar.

Maybe it's time for him to upgrade his old Mac again. This has happened before. He was alerted as a missing person, some 4 months after his last login attempt back then.

Friede and I have been on a PA hiatus too some time ago. not because we were lazy but because someone who was an administrator back then insulted her, which in our opinion is stepping out of line for an administrator. I won't name the person though

Strange, I'm seeing his latest reviews and it's mostly Prog. I seem to recall he had constant access problems here, maybe that's the reason he's not writing here.

Wow, I'm glad I checked out this thread.  I had been wondering what happened to him.  He just suddenly disappeared on Christmas Eve of 2018, I thought that was strange.  Anyway, another mystery solv-ed.
