I've been on a Camel thing recently, generally the first 4 are the highest rated. so which of these is your favorite. You can probably tell which mine is ;)

I'm partial to Rajaz for this list.

Nude is my second favourite Camel album, just after The Snow Goose.

Stationary Traveller might be my favorite Camel album period.  They somehow married their own brand of prog with new wave and it worked.  It's certainly my favorite post 1970s Camel

Lots of great tunes on these albums. Breathless and Single Factor are the weakest, but hard to say which is the best...

Rain Dances over Nude

Apart of the one with zero votes, which I suspect will remain at zero, all of them are good. I don't feel much love for Dust and Dreams, but I wouldn't give up to any of the others. Said so, Rajaz is the only one which can really sit together with the first four.

...and in September there should be the new album by Colin Bass.

Breathless, Nude, Ran Dances, Stationary Traveller are very good, and all have their moments. I couldn't vote Single Factor here against the strong competition, but it is in fact pretty enjoyable.

A far more interesting post than his usually tedious argumentum ad nauseam propaganda.

I totally agree with you. Great music on all these albums. I voted Harbour of Tears, since I got to meet the band while touring for this album, and got a signed copy of the CD by all of them, so I have a special connection with it.

right, and it's hard to make a coherent argument against Camel anyways, so silence is golden  Smile

Wow didn’t know rain dances was that popular! I think it’s kinda packed with filler. I feel that even on their stinkers there’s usually always gems, Breathless has echoes, I can see your house has ice and hymn to her.

Glad to see nude getting some love, great album

The two last ones are high tier for me though

Easily Rajaz, but Rain Dances is good too.
I use they/them pronouns (feel free to ask me about this!)

Check out my music on my bandcamp!

Just a great band with ICSYHFH (too pop), Single Factor and Dust and Dreams not as good as the others (why no love for Stationary Traveller?).
