This is a question that popped into my head earlier. I like all of these but Get Em Out by Friday takes it for me with Epping and Robbery in a close second and third

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

All in a mouses night always makes my toes curl.. My favourite from that list Return of the Giant Hogweed, especially the version on Genesis Live. |

Somehow I'm missing "The Fountain of Salmacis", "The Musical Box" and "Harold the Barrel".

There are quite a few story based Genesis songs. Another one that comes to my mind is White Mountain. I pick Slippermen just over Hogweed. |

From the list, "Get Em Out By Friday", but my favourite is "One For The Vine".

Wanted to stick with one per album, also didn’t wanna throw in a song like musical box that would likely run away with it |

Ditto, a staggering piece of work from a group of people who were barely out of school. From the list, Get 'Em Out. |

Agree and when the gang leaders says after all their followers have died-- "There's no one left alive--must be a draw. SO the black cap barons toss a coin to settle the score!" I get chills down my spin when Hackett comes in with his moving guitar lick. Sublime. But All in a Mouses night a close second ...

From this list, Get 'em Out by Friday.
I would've voted for either Harold the Barrel or One for the Vine over these. Still, it's Genesis. It's all good.

All in a Mouse's Night is wittily told from a number of perspectives. It also has some wonderful melodies

I'm actually trying to wrap my mind around what makes a song story or non-story based.
