OK, I'll bite... 01: Close to the Edge 02: Larks' Tongues in Aspic 03: Red 04: In the Court of the Crimson King 05: Fragile 06: Animals 07: Wish You Were Here 08: Thick As a Brick 09: Selling England by the Pound 10: Relayer 11: Moving Pictures 12: Dark Side of the Moon 13: Per un amico 14: Moonmadness 15: Mirage 16: Godbluff 17: Pawn Hearts18: Nursery Cryme 19: Foxtrot 20: From Silence to Somewhere I understand this is about people's tastes, which do not necessarily coincide with my own. However, the reason why, in my opinion. From Silence to Somewhere sticks out like a sore thumb can be expressed with a single word: originality. And I'll leave it at that.

Love your Crimsonesque top 5 'Red' gave me lots of troubles placing it... a fave of mine! difficult task in general... if one slightly changes the criteria for ranking the ordering changes dramatically.

I love being fundamentally wrong. (I think it's my middle name.) Plus, I absolutely despise, hate, cannot tolerate, and feel nothing accessible in Larks Tongues in Aspic. I feel nothing, find nothing appreciable in the musicianship, collaboration, or composition. It's pure noise, fingers scratching across blackboards, metal tail pipes dragging down the road. Rubbish, trash, dissonant dissonance, white noise, black noise, noise. I prefer elevator music and Barry Manilow. And this is a band with my favorite drummer of all-time!

like some others have said and I agree...I am not interested and I pass, though I am a bit surprised that as many as 3 of them might actually be in my all time top 20
