There are alot of things to compare these two acts on. Both have names that alludes to internationality, of being well traveld, globetrotting allusion. Both had mix of american and english musicians with history of working with other famous acts, Ian Anderson with King Crimson, Mick Jones of Spooky Tooth, and so on and Journey members were Carlos Santanas band. Neal Schon and co were previously part of Santana . Both produced three albums before the change into more comerisal route was lead, though still good music was made but not with that oozing exietment.
So are you a fan of early first three albums of Foreigner or in similar case Journeys 3 withGregg Rolie . Edited by Icarium - July 19 2019 at 00:18 |

Went with Journey.
Foreigner was clearly more successful from the beginning and those albums have some great songs but I prefer the sometime progginess of those first three Journey albums.
