Yes. I've been immersing myself in that album and I quite like it.

I read an AllMusic review in which the following statement was made:

Mackenzie's guitar playing is flammable, maybe even a little more than usual. His leads on "Self-Immolate" feel like they might void warranties on speakers, the riffs on tracks like "Hell" and "Planet B" are like hammers to the brain, and he basically sounds like he's on a mission to be all three of Iron Maiden's guitarists at once.

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

The DVD of the Sons Of Apollo - Live With The Plovdiv Psychotic Symphony is excellent. You get a chunky 2 and half hours plus bonus features. They cover a few Dream Theatre songs as well Zep , Van Halen and a few others .  The venue ( an Roman Amphitheatre) is becoming very well used by prog bands with Anathema and Asia also recording excellent DVD's there. The acoustics it seems are second to none.

Thanks to you, TCat, I'm LOVING the DARSOMBRA and LOUIS DE MIEULLE albums.

Also, I'm really enjoying The Bell and La marmite cosmique V. Also early release songs by MIDLIFE, JAN AKKERMAN, and ORION 2.O and the new TEA CLUB album sound really nice upon first listen.

But the surprise of all surprises is the amazing SERGE FIORI (Harmonium) double disc covering his entire career with many new versions of old classics. That voice is so unmistakable and these versions are spine-tinglingly awesome! CHECK IT OUT!

Thank you! Also, Richard Henshall (of Haken) came out with his debut The Cocoon on August 9th. Though, he's not listed on the site yet, so this may just need to wait a bit.
