Fave Prog Band Home Concert?

Went to the Sept. 25, 1977 Yes show at the San Diego Sports Arena. They aren't now, but they were probably my favorite band then. It all started with Parallels and ended with Awaken before the two encores (one being Starship Trooper). Fantastic would be an understatement in describing the show, and my buddy and I had great seats. It was also good to see Wakeman back in the lineup.

^^^ I am from and live in Guatemala, and I was there in San Salvador for that Jethro Tull concert. I was in San Salvador too for a Symphony X concert (The Odyssey tour). Both were in the Feria grounds, and the acoustics were terrible, especially in the SymX show. There was also a security issue in the JT show, when a fan climbed on the stage and hugged Ian (obviously against his will). He was so enraged, he threw his flute away and walked out from the stage, leaving the rest of the band playing the final notes! But I had the time of my life on both!

Michael Manring played a solo show in Guatemala City around 2005 which I attended too. And one of my favorites, Dream Theater played a show here also around 2003. I wasn't able to make it that time, but I had already watched DT in Florida for their World Tourbulence in the 00's.

It wasn't that difficult to find good prog concerts in Hamburg, Germany when I grew up, so I mention the local prog heroes Novalis here; saw them four times, "home concerts" for them as well as me. The one on their Augenblicke tour was among my first five concerts, and it had a very cosy home atmosphere with very tasteful not overdone light show and effects, apart from them being very good at the time anyway.
