...And a bunch of the emoticons have been replaced with some very wrong images. Is there mainenance being done on the site, or has it been hacked?

It must have been a cache problem on my end, because I Ctrl-Refreshed the site a couple times and then it was fine. The weird thing was that it really took 2 or 3 refreshes before things were back to normal. It would get gradually better. I've never seen anything like it before.
