This group formed in 1973 and they were one of the 70's and 80's DDR groups.  They were singed with AMIGA alongside other prolific DDR bands like Stern Combo Meissen and are still together despite releasing only four official studio albums.

You can find out more about them in the following links:

Surprised that they aren't here yet. Most important GDR Prog Band alongside Stern Combo Meisen
and Electra.

Just hear Meeresfahrt! (Track)

I'm very surprised, on Meeresfahrt after poppy "Wir Fahrn Uebers Meer" I expected more pop fusion/jazz-rock, but later part is very symphonic with rich, spacey keyboard arrangements/riffs and very funny hook vocal melodies (with added bonus tracks from first LP),
Around 15 min great hammond bulldozer!
It gives me the climate of fighting against adversity.

Not to be confused with the "Lift" that is included in the Symphonic Prog category: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=2257

It strikes me as more of an Art Rock band than JRF despite jazzy qualities. I wouldn't think JRF for the German Lift, as it leans more to Symphonic Prog with Crossover qualities to me across albums:

The long tracks from the albums:

(my fave of these)

I haven't listened to the full albums, but Symph or an Art Rock sub like Crossover would work better to my ears. Have listened to some more, I lean towards Crossover at this point for this Deutschrock band, but others know it better than I.

excellent find, wasn't aware of them before ...
... and yep, I fully agree, for what I could hear so far, this is predominantly coming from vintage art rock meadows, garnered with some symphonic touch

will notify the xover team

It looks like it will be added to Crossover: https://progfreak.com/Lift-173852.html?path=pa/recent

As for when, not that you asked, such things often take considerable time as we are all volunteers here (and some deal with lots of evaluations and additions, and juggle that with their non-hobby PA commitments). Hopefully this topic will be updated when it's officially cleared or quite possibly only after it's added. If they need more information, or help in any way, I expect that they will post in this thread or contact you by other means such as a PM.
