I would like to suggest Chasing The Monsoon from Wales for PA, probably for Symphonic?  I'd been hearing them on a couple of the prog radio shows, purchased their CD and think they're just wonderful.  Here is a link to their website:

and their YT "Topic" channel:

and their Facebook page:

They do have some folky elements...sorry if I missed another suggestion for them.  Do let me know and I'll take this out.  I just felt they were more symphy than folky....but I do love the prog folk stuff, so maybe that's why I like them.

I saw that someone had mentioned them in this area without their name being in the topic title.  Please do combine our posts or whatever needs be done, moderators.  I do think they deserve to be here, wherever the PTB's decide.

ok sounds good, I'll take them off prog folk list for now but xover can send it to symph or us if they want.  Tsirmay had recommended them in the prog folk thread.

Re being surprised they aren't here yet, there are so many bands out there, and then offshoots and offshoots of offshoots.  We can't possibly cover all the bases, and depend on people making suggestions.  Then, being all volunteer, it can take a lot of time before the addition actually occurs.   We only have 3 people in prog folk and one has not been heard from in over a year while another spends a lot of time over at jazz archives.  Those are among the valid reasons why an artist isn't here "yet".

Oh, I do hope you didn't take it as complaining from me...not at all!  Just wanting what I felt to be a good band to get recognized and noted here.
