If you're visiting this thread to vote, then I'm guessing you're a fan of Barclay James Harvest too, so for all of  the BJH fans here, this is "Berlin: A Concert for the People." Smile
The concert is from 1983 (not 1883, as it says on YouTube), six years before the fall of the Berlin Wall.

This is hard, and certainly not easy to chooce. I'll vote for "Everyone is Everybody Else" mainly because it was their first album I got, and have very fond memories.

By strange coincidence, I'm listening to the "Everyone is Everybody Else" album right now. Smile

My favorite BJH without a doubt are "Live" and "Live Tapes" with better versions of their best songs,

That's quite a mouthful. I'm not sure I could remember to get all of those names in the right order. Wink

I would have chosen the Live albums too, although I thought it was best to stick to the studio albums in my poll. Smile

A very good band, much neglected on this forum.
I went for Time Honoured Ghosts, but I could have gone with several others.
But their real masterpiece is Barclay James Harvest - Live, which is a superb album. I saw them at The Theatre Royal Drury Lane, which was one of the gigs they recorded for the album.

Amazingly, I'm listening to the Time Honoured Ghosts album right now as I write this. Smile

BJH are a strange one for me, I absolutely love "Once Again" and it's easily in my top 10 albums (let alone prog albums) but I've never really got into any of their other albums. I try again from time to time but Once Again remains by far and away their best for me.

I gave Octoberon more of the love it deserves, but could have gone with EIEE or Once Again.
Live and Live Tapes are both awesome

The "Once Again" album is the only one of the first 10 BJH albums I've yet to hear, but I can confidently predict I'm bound to like it, having enjoyed all of their albums so far. Time now, to watch the "Concert for the People" from Berlin, seeing as I'm already here on this thread. Smile

Time Honoured Ghosts for me. This is a band I was really into for awhile, I should go back to them at some point.

many regard that as their best;  if you've heard the live albums then you probably already know a few of the best songs

BJH are not a band to my liking; they are way too soft and melodic, which is why I call them Barclay James Harmless.

I don't have a favorite album. But Mockingbird and She Said are both on Once Again so I'm voting for that.
