Ok, I found it, here's a link: https://www.rwcc.com/gorr.asp

He says it is not yet recorded, but will be released in late March already. That's optimistic! I bet that it will take longer... Anyway, no further info on it at this time.

^That's how I found about it too. The album, the soup, and his missing hat.

Less than two weeks till the announced release date, and still no info on the tracks.

There are a couple of new videos though: https://www.rwcc.com/notices/theredplanet.php#trpvideo (but only talk, no music)

Here Rick says that the album is recorded and is currently being mixed.

Nice, I hope it comes out good. His last rock albums (Out There, and the Retro ones) have been great.

So can anyone tell me how many of Rick Wakeman's huge amounts of albums are any good?

I've probably only heard about ten and only like about half of them.

Some are just plain awful!

Six Wives
Myths and Legends
Journey To Centre Of Earth
No Earthly Connection
Criminal Record
Cost of Living
Cirque Surreal

That's all i can remember at the moment. Sure i've heard a few more but completely forgotten about them.

Yes, sadly Wakeman has erred on the side of quantity instead of focusing on quality. He seems to have made an album every few months for decades, and not even his most hardcore fans can keep track!

Yet, what is exciting about the upcoming album The Red Planet is that it will be a Prog album, and he hasn't done that in quite a while now. Plus it will be all instrumental. I'm excited!

Out There is a pretty good album. Even more so, I would recommend his full band live albums.

I would also endorse both the Retro and Out There albums

I like the New Age Trilogy as well ( Country , Sea and Night Airs)
