The others are very good (yep, warchild) with only one rather weak, Too Old.

You forgot Minstrel in that mix

Minstrel? You'll find it in the second drawer.

WC is hardly their worse (Too Old... is from those years), but it's down there AFAIAC, with APP and SW.

As for This Was, it's actually an excellent album (in the top 5, IMHO), though out of character from Tull.
What is AFAIAC? I love War Child, a Passion Play & Stormwatch quite equally, but also think Too Old the weakest of 68-79- period. I think those three greater than This Was, but love it also.

Too old remix is better than Minstrel. Love the extra tracks. Pretty much the best songs on the set
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

AFAIC
As far as I can

There’s usually a T in the end meaning ‘as far as I can tell’

This is close. It's out of 'Aqualung' and 'Heavy Horses' for me.  I think probably 'Aqualung', but I'm going to go and give it to 'Heavy Horses', because it's my second favourite Tull album, and is criminally neglected.

Thanx, David. I thought it was abbreviation of some album name, and I couldn´t find what! LOL

Heh...I managed to fudge that up completely. AFAIAC means ‘as far as I am concerned’
Damn abbreviations! They should be restricted to long album titles in Finnish and Japanese

Aqualung here. But I like Too Old To Rock and Roll more than TAAB.

Minstrel? You'll find it in the second drawer.

That one goes in the first tier alongside albums like a APP and TaaB 😂

I am not sure, but I voted for Aqualung.

In my opinion, Thick as a Brick is "PROGGER" than the others but it isnt the best.
