I'm not trying to influence the vote with the choice of thread title, but my vote goes to Genesis this time around.

Oof, this is a tough one. Brain Salad Surgery beats Selling England By The Pound but only by a hair's breadth. Needless to say, In A Glass House, Thick As A Brick, Larks' Tongues In Aspic and Close To The Edge are timeless masterpieces as well.

Too many great albums to actually choose one in particular. Since I cannot vote for all, I won't vote for any.

That's the way it goes sometimes. By trying to include all of the great bands and classic albums in the poll, it makes it really difficult to choose the best one.

Some mightily good albums in here. I vote for the best Caravan album, which doesn't have any votes yet and will have a hard time finding more against this competition.

Too many greats for me here, but I have to say, this is where I just love "Fearless." Put Family on the map for me, even though I knew their earlier recordings.

so many great ones
I think I put Renaissance first, with Jethro Tull, Moody Blues, Barclay James Harvest, Genesis and Yes all up there

OK, it seems to be 5 albums what it takes for a prog band to reach their masterpiece.
