Buying the Halo 2 soundtrack (Which is the only non-live place I'm aware of to get The Odyssey) sounds quite risky in the way that The Odyssey is the only thing there worth listening to. All I can say is if you have excess money right now and are a truly honest person, you have no problem and will most likely be satisfied to some extent. I wish I could buy Odyssey with something else I enjoy, rather then these alternative bands like Breaking Benjamin, etc. Goodluck dealing with that though.

I was intrigued by this thread and downloaded this song, and I have to say I am very impressed.A good prog, metal, jazz mixture.Brandon Boyd's participation is practically non-existent though, which was slightly disappointing. But a very good song nonetheless.

Some things from there sound like they could have been ripped strait from King Crimson.  Actually, theres a part thats pretty much identical to "On th Run" from Floyd. It's incredibly proggy, but I have no idea about there other work.

It's not really like any other stuff of theirs I have heard. My teenage daughter listens to them quite a bit and the other stuff of theirs I have heard doesn't sound like this. That is why this song surprised me so much.

Brandon plays bongos during the bongo jam part (i forget which movement that is...)  In the live version they have a 3-way drum battle.
